The Green Association

The operations of the Green Association are overseen by director Arkadi Mkhitaryan.  Each youth group has a group leader who is responsible for supervising all group activities and organizing meetings.

The implementing capacity of the Green Association is drawn from its’ strong community ties in the villages where the youth groups are located. Support from local school directors, village mayors, teachers and parents has been fostered through a long series of successful projects by both the Green Association and its partner organization, Green Tavush. Successfully implemented projects include summer camps, writing competitions, trash cleanups, and film screenings.
