Environmental Resource Center

Youth, learning how to use internetThe Green Tavush Resource Center provides a location where the community can gather to learn about environmental protection and discuss their environmental concerns. The community also has access to 4 computers, 3 donated by the Armenia Support project. 16 videos and other material have been translated into Armenian by the center. It is used for Eco Clubs, preperation of camps, community meetings and the computers are availible to local kids to learn about computers.

The resource center has been developed by Green Tavush in cooperation with Peace Corps volunteers, Armenian Support project, USAID SPA program, and the City of Ijevan which has provided the buildong. This year we look forward to installing gas heat and internet access. The center is also reciving a digital projector for use in presentation both in the center and at schools and other orginizations..
