The Green Tavush Agriculture Training Center, founded in 2007, has run ten training sessions, involving 110 people from the local community.

2004-2010: Green Tavush has provided 30 environmental education presentations to 30 schools throughout Tavush Marz.

5 urban and 429 rural waste dumps which fail to meet basic sanitation and hygiene requirements. 11 urban waste sites and 178 local sites which operate illegally. Around 36 million tons of waste is generated annually. (Source Agriculture
